I'll twist your words just a bit to prove a point .... "There’s no way these two sides can continue to coexist like this, and Lincoln has done nothing to lower the temperature". Time for civil war huh??? Careful bro.

Wow, you took that as an attack. I was right a while back when I said that Trumpers are more thin skinned than the wokest of the woke. Goodnight!

They already coexist.

The majority of America are centrist and can get along just fine. And mature, sane adults can disagree on political views and still exist with civility and even friendship. Granted, there are a few disturbed and immature people in America who think anyone who disagrees with them are evil, but those people are a loud minority.

You believe that because you tune into cable news, probably Fox, that convinces you that America is drawn down the middle. They want to convince their naive viewership that it's you vs. them so it keeps the ant jar shaking, as dawghater would say.
We aren't as divided as you think--or, well, want us to be. You like the idea of the divide. You've said yourself that anyone who is leftist Dem is evil, and you view anyone who doesn't agree with you as leftist Dem. You contribute to the problem.
But you're a minority.

One third of voting Americans don't identify with a party, and most Pubs and Dems also aren't filled with hatred. It's a vocal, fringe minority on both sides. Those who think we're heading toward civil war are nuts. Those who want it need to be committed.

That makes it curious how the parties keep flip-flopping power in the White House and Congress. It's almost as if you have a massive group of independents who actually decide elections and kick out incumbents to keep the balance.
And I'll still call racist people racists.

-The last two presidential elections weren't tight. Biden won handily in 2020; Trump won handily in 2016. If we are going to talk tight elections, 2000 is where we go. Election patterns still point to a large group of independents balancing the power by kicking out the ruling party.
-The independents won't likely give control back to the Republicans. They 100 percent with certainty will. That's following the pattern. The GOP will make big gains this year.
-I will. When a person acts racist here, they will be called on it, "warnings" be ######. It's potentially harmful to our recruiting.

2016 was decided 304-227. 2020 was 306-232. That's not close in terms of what matters in the EC.
What you're discussing is like comparing two teams having almost identical total yards in a game but the score still being 35-13 due to other factors.

Sorry, I'm usually asleep by now but I couldn't resist but look Cata, I think Terminator T3 is insinuating that he is more tolerant than folks like us. Is that your experience on this board? Seems I recall a post earlier today in which you pegged him to a tee and I think line 3 was: "When you don't engage in a debate about his new points, he claims you're defending the bad guys and launches into personal attacks". Yep, that has been my experience also. No offense intended T3, sleep tight!

Well, you can keep RA'ing all you want but they are called "moderator's" so I'm pretty sure they can read and judge for themselves if there is any real "abuse" going on. Anyway, there you go again telling other people what they can type and what they can't and far as I can tell, Terminator is not cussing or abusive. However, out of respect for a fellow Tiger I will refrain. Btw, if you can't make yourself laugh in this crazy world you are in deep caca IMO.

Terminator 3 was a ###### addition to the franchise, seems like you'd take "Terminator" as a compliment.

LOL, no. By far, one of the worst in the other direction. He's literally called people with different political views as him "evil".

overturning the will of the people in an election that wasn't even close.
It provides a better understanding of why Trump wanted Pence et al to fear for their lives.

Let’s see, we’d have: Lower energy costs Lower inflation (due to the above) More secure borders Better trade deals No b.s. climate accord (that does nothing but cost billions). More vaccinations A president that loves America. No build back broke bill getting shoved up our azzes.
Etc. etc.
