Washington just got screwed by the refs.

If they showed us every angle they had, there's no way that should've been overturned.

is no way what I saw was indisputable so the call on the field should've stood.
That's what I'll never understand about the replays, some stuff that seems so obvious is deemed inconclusive and other times when you can barely tell it is enough to overturn. Consistently inconsistent!

ESPN is saying that the tip of the ball hit the ground. I don't see it. the ball can touch the ground as long as you have control of it underneath it. bogus. I have seen that call stand a million times.

they showed on the broadcast didn't give a clear picture of what happened. They only showed the back angle. The replay officials must have had a better angle than what we saw.

Definitely? How on earth can you say that?

I see one angle where it appears it may have hit the ground, but then again I've seen replays where it appears someone is stepping out then I see another angle right on top that clearly shows they aren't out. Unfortunately there weren't any clear views. Angles can be deceiving and I certainly didn't see enough not to dispute it so how can you?

Definitely. I was so confused why the announcers kept saying you couldn't tell while watching that angle from behind. It was pretty obvious. You can see the ball bounce up off the ground into his arm. I was reeeally hoping they wouldn't overturn it though; I wanted to see a good ending. Plus I wanted Washington to win, but that anticlimactic ending was pretty terrible.
