media for months and getting censored for it..but this does leave one to wonder how many games got canceled due to these types of tests coming back positive when the reality was no one was really positive?..when i first read this ucla came to mind along with fsu last season..wonder if they used the same type of tests?

The PCR tests were never intended to specify actual infections/cases. They were only supposed to identify possible candidates for further investigation. I have heard numbers as low as 3% on the number that are actually COVID cases. The powers-that-be just decided that was good enough to quarantine people. My concern is how many people stress themselves into some other negative health consequence like heart problems after testing positive but not actually being sick. We end up swamping the health care outlets with people who are just scared and not sick.

The WHO, CDC, NIH and other leading institutions of health loved the headlines because the hype gave them power which brought more funding to their orgs.

I have a friend at the ER now with COVID and he and his entire family have tested positive and all of them including kids are vaccinated. Easy to doubt until it happens to you or someone you know.

I was vaccinated and I tested positive for covid.I thought I had the flu but agreed to be tested as a thought of being responsible.I was given the 10 day sentence.Its mentally wearing me out worse than the symptoms I believe.But I could be worse off if I wasn't vaxed.Dont care what your religious or political opinion is.But since I was responsible,I feel like a pariah with my work.What if I had just stayed home the day I was tested and went back to work and spread it further?Covid is real,but some logic isn't. I do not have faith in our government or CDC,since they keep flipping numbers.They are lying at least moderately.God only knows.We as people are dust in the wind.We start dying the day we are born and can't control our end date unless we commit suicide.By the way folks,all lives matter and football is only a GAME.Carpe diem and Que Sera Sera.

I agree there is no trust right now. It's interesting how 73% of all new COVID cases were being attributed to the Omnicron Variant on 12/20 and today the numbers were adjusted down to about 50% with very little fan fair. More fear mongering to control the people.

This I a big part of the problem. Data can be manipulated to further agendas. A couple of weeks ago Omicron was the scary bad new variant. Reports that attributed 73% to that variant further an agenda to create or continue panic. Now that it has been widely reported that Omicron isn’t as deadly and produces milder symptoms they pull back the narrative on it - again to further an agenda. Standard media tactics.
Before anyone jumps me about not believing, etc. - I am fully vaxed and boosted. My father in law got Covid in 2020 before there was a shot and died. I believe this is real but also that it is evolving and how we react to it should evolve as well.

I agree too. Facts have been confusing, misleading, wrong, and used for political power. I think everyone without medical issues around get vaccinated. But life goes on ... otherwise it is not life. I have faith that I will eventually go to heaven - but I'm in no hurry to go there. I do not fear death. I choose LIFE - to live as good intended - not in isolation.
Get vaccinated. Then LIVE.

this is about how the cdc constantly says one thing then another..like them changing quarantine rules to 5 days the other day on a whim from 10 days..it has been known for months that these types of tests arent reliable

Believe it or not, life is quite dynamic. Not static. Change is the only constant. It should not be a shock that protocols change over time based on ever changing circumstances and data. The problem is that detail and nuance associated with these changes is undigestible to the masses. Check your history books, this is a repetitive occurrence.

According to the news article I read yesterday (not Fox) as early as summer of last year, the data was showing isolation should have been 5 days. Did everyone see the new guidance that cloth face masks do not help.
Any medical scientist or MD that dare questions the CDC, WHO, government, are shouted down. That's how science works, researchers question EVERYTHING.
Yes, sadly people will continue to die, perhaps me or one of my loved ones. However, if we want to save children's lives, ban all backyard pools, in ground, above ground, plastic blow-up pools. How about max speed limit of 55 mph. Instead of a ticket for speeding, 10 days home confinement. If it saves one life it's worth it, right?
