Clemson bkball signee RJ Godfrey..

won an MVP in a big holiday tournament in Georgia yesterday. like 18 pts, 12 Rebs and 4 blocks in the championship game.

Remember Godfrey and fellow Georgia top 150 signee Chauncey Wiggins said that one of the reasons they signed with Clemson is they were close with Ian Sheffelin who is also from Georgia.

Clemson is the strong running for 5 star Wheeler PG for the next class in 2023, London Johnson who knows all three of those guys.

We might be developing a strong Georgia recruiting pipeline. One of the keys is assistant Antonio Reynolds Dean who was the main recruiter for all of these recruits. Johnson has Clemson in his top 6 with others like Virginia and Alabama.

PJ Hall's impact on the program as a heavily recruited prospect might also help sway Johnson who says he might decide early next year.

RJ is an unbelievably high character young man. I retired after his freshman year, but coaches at North whose opinion I value say he is an humble and grateful young man. He is perfect for the culture in Tigertown and I can't wait to cheer him on in Littlejohn.

Any chance we are also looking at Wade Hampton's Naseem Mayes? No idea if he's related to Clyde Mayes but there are definite similarities.

Thought Sheffelin had a solid performance vs UVA with 2 or 3 scores and rebounds.
