My oldest and his bride are coming into town tonight. We’ll play our annual “Captain’s Choice” Round on Saturday.
Captain’s Choice because neither of them play but they want to do something with me that I enjoy. It’s always a fun outing!!! And yes . . . the beer will be cold!!!
Your Dad loved when Ottis sat on the dock too!!! Your Dad had great taste!!!!!! I miss mine too.

Wish all you dad's a happy and safe Father's Day. Never having a child, I no not what it's like. Dad's been gone for 25 years so the memories fade but good ones. The simplest moments are the best. Time we have on this earth is short.
No regrets. I was with my boys Tuesday and again last night. Even had a special treat Tues, got to give Ty Olenchuk's new puppy Ace a big ole hug. And I got to see him hit his first and perhaps only collegiate home run.
Those of you that have children, cherish each one of those precious little moments as if they were the last.

Otis and Percy put that slow dancing music out there. Just had to make sure you were with the right one when that music came on. Of course, in high school they played it often so you would eventually be with the one you wanted.

grandkids out to eat tonight so their parents can have an anniversary date night a week late. They all will be back tomorrow and guess who gets to grill the burgers.
BTW - the way I learned of Otis dying was when the two guys in the next dorm room at Clemson started yelling, " Not Otis - anybody but Otis".
