ACC or a conference in the same straights as the Big 12. Someone suggested The Big 10 go for USC and put the hard sell on Notre Dame. That would secure their conference. What would be left? A PAC 10 willing take in survivors from the Big 12 and an ACC with little glamorous teams to pick up. Notre Dame is a key imho. Go Tigers!!!!

Yep, agree. and we're stuck with a rookie ACC commissioner. I hope he is tapping into his Midwest background and contacts and figuring out how to get ND fully onboard before the B10 poaches them. Then go poach a VERY PO'd ATM from the SEC. WIN, WIN, WIN!

Agree totally… ND and TAM to ACC would secure future of ACC. I wish tiger was a way to add Cincy and WVa too, but cannot see that unless someone else goes elsewhere. Very hard to throw a team off the bus once they are on. ??

Personally, I wish for OSU, Penn St, and maybe ND. But if ND is still playing hard to get, drop everything with ND and tell them what we tell the coots, suck it!!!!
Hopefully FSU, Miami, and VT will get back to their old selves, and if we could get OSU, Penn St, and ND, we could be one of the top two strongest FB conferences in college FB!!!!

I week from now things may look completely different for the ACC. I would love to see ND come on board, but they are a stubborn group. They like their freedom.

Their freedom would be totally FKed up if they didn't have anyone to play if conferences went to 16 teams!!!
