Texas A&M Parking

Anybody have any insight on the parking situation at A&M?? From what i’ve researched, looks like there is paid parking around College Station and Bryan and shuttles to/from Kyle Field. Also, does anybody know if there is parking next to The Bush Library?? We were thinking that would be a great place to spend time and be out of the Texas sun...TIA and Go Tigers!!

When we were there before, the closer in pay parking is taken pretty early. We parked out just before the campers and it was excellent. Shuttle to stadium if you want, but walk is less than Auburn or UVa for that matter. We took flag poles etc in golf bags and had a good tailgate. aTm fans were great, shared their food, and extremely helpful. Bush library a close walk.

The link on this page titled "Visitor Pay Parking" is where you can pre-purchase a parking pass once the 2018 areas are designated and the site is active. I spoke with someone in the department and they think the information will be available early to mid-August. If you want to get one in advance I would start checking around August 7th and check daily.

The George Bush Library is very close to the stadium and you should be able to get into one of the cash lots nearby if you get there early or get a Pre-Sale parking pass. There's a pretty cool interactive football parking map in the link above as well.

I posted a “what to do in College Station” thread a couple months ago. In that thread was a “where to park and tailgate”. It is based on your likes (rowdyness, quiet, young students and alums vs older alums, etc).

If you park in the visitor lots on the periphery it will definitely be a lot more quiet than say Reed Arena or Spence Park.

George Bush Library has one of the RV Lots and Fan field but again... it’s a hike and on the periphery.
