Commitments over the last 4 years (2019-2022).
That’s 18 juniors, sophomores, or freshmen that have left (or better leave) in order to get down to 85.

They have 27 so far for the ‘22 class, with a few others anticipated for Feb. I wonder if they will have to turn some away.

Noticed several schools have over 25 "committed" on 24/7, but a review of the schools signees always shows 25, or less, actually "signed". Guessing there is still a 25/year, 85 total limit still isn't there...and does the NCAA still enforce it? Hope the over committed kids know this and are not left out in the cold. Can easily see the "Jimbo" and "Kirby" shafting a couple of kids.

I believe I read somewhere that a school can sign an additional 7 players due to the covid year. For how long, I don't know, but there was some relief given to schools. Anybody have some info on this?

They always lose a bunch….
There are plenty of schools in Texas to pick them up.
Texas State, North Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, SMU, Houston, plus the D2 teams…..
Our turnover at Clemson is small compared to Texas and TAMU……
Look at Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, both ended up at OU.

They can have NIL pay out full rides to the oversignees and no one has to leave.
