So the tenth ranked team gets beat by Clemson who was a favorite by 4.5 points by 21 points...
Hmmmmm??
Whose ranking the teams? Ronald McDonald? Got a clown show up in here.

Probably not the first but doesn't happen often. And when was the last time the the unranked team boatraced the highly ranked team by 21 after being a fav by more than 4?

Does not happen often with a top ten versus an unranked team.
I was pretty confident we could win due to Wake’s defense being SO bad if we could score between 24 to 30 points. We knew the defense would do what it needed to.
Loved the way the D got after yesterday. And the way Tony stuck with the run game for a change. We have a 3 headed monster at RB next year.

Still somewhat surprised any time that ESPN has a Clemson game as part of their programming. Figured that they would go 'all Google' on us and censor any showing or mention of Clemson ... except when we lose.

Ill go ahead and confess that I have not kept up w the polls re the records and quality wins of the top 25 since we fell out, but I do not begrudge voters for not having us ranked between our last loss and thus afternoon. But I am still curious why one would say we should've been ranked prior to today. We are only now beginning to have a record worthy of the national recognition of and we made fools of all who were, at the start of the season, ranking us highly and prepared to vote for DJ come Heisman time. Why do you disagree?

Found this little blurb on a search;
AP top 10 teams are 20-13 ATS as an underdog against unranked opponents since the 1978 FBS/FCS split, including 10-3 ATS since 2005 and 4-1 ATS over the last five seasons. Nov 5, 2021
So, I guess those #'s will change to:
20-14 since 1978
10-4 since 2005
4-2 since 2016

Yes, they were ranked 10th when we beat them. Some people may think they were over rated or some may think we were under rated...
That's the whole point of the post, Mr. 40 percent.
