Somebody please convince me that, when he was being introduced at the game's beginning, Tee wasn't dissin' Clemson when he named his high school instead of Clemson as his former team.

Yea the 38 pulse gives it away lol. I used to think NK was doing it as a dig on Clemson (not sure of the why) but now it’s pretty normal procedure.

How have people not realized that players go this all the time now? A bunch of them mention their elementary school.
Did you not hear all the other players not name their college, or did you only listen to Tee?

Some people wants to thank their high school coaches. Who was there at the beginning of their lives and directed them at early ages. I’m okay with that.

This is a non-issue. Move along.
The only people that don’t know that T Higgins went to Clemson university are people that don’t know anything about Clemson or college football. He mentioned his high school. What’s the big deal?
My guess is in the near future the trend will be to mention your mom‘s name. I think that would be just fine.
Some of ya’ll old tigernet farts gotta realize that these players have a life beyond Clemson football.

It’s the older folks on here that get bent out of shape about it. It’s the players choice on what to say. You don’t like it, then ok go get your butt in shape then go play WR and start in the Super Bowl, then you can say whatever you want. So dumb, people around the world already know about Clemson.

DLW great look for Clemson for a lot of kids that maybe don’t know Tee played at Clemson to mention it imo. Nothing wrong with mentioning his high school but high school recruits may be interested in what college the guys in the biggest game of the year played. Free pub to the masses.

I am sorry Higgins is a grown A$$ man - that is playing in the NFL-is making his own money and a lot of it-I am pretty sure after his game on Sunday, it won't be long before he is making even more money. It is none of my business, where he stated that he played ball. He was a fine young man at Clemson and represented the University with honor. Beside that- I think his Mom still loves Clemson and what they did for her son and what they will still do for him (getting the degree) that if he was to ever disrespect Clemson or Her- she would have no problems taking him out of this world- just like she brought him into it!
I know a few people from Oak Ridge Tennessee, they a little crazy but family is family!
