Tebow retiring from baseball

Feb 18, 2021, 8:25 AM

Who even knew he was on a roster called to do other things he said.

He is excited about new projects bet he was a clown act for the most part.

I have always been fascinated by the inevitable Tebow

bashing that comes in comments to any story about him. The guy has never been anything but an honest, if a little naive, man who is not afraid to express his Christian faith. I applaud him for realizing that his time for participating in pro sports has passed, and now is the time for him to fully transition into being on the broadcast end of things. He could easily have taken the Mets money for another year, and gotten many more headlines, good or bad, in the process.

I just wish he had tried a position change in pro football. He is big enough and talented enough he might have been a good tight end or de.

I also get a little miffed whenever I read articles about

him "failing" in the NFL. The last (and only) year he was given a legitimate shot as a starting QB, he WON a playoff game for Denver, beating the Pittsburgh Steelers. Not my definition of failure.

BTW I am a Christian as well. I liked him as a football player at Florida but not so much as a broadcaster

Was gonna say something about his tight fitting attire oops sorry for the sarcasm

I know I am old and out of touch I suppose

Based on his career the phrase “opt out” would fit better***

If Tim Tebow was any of our sons then we'd be super proud. He has been a wonderful leader and role model for everyone regardless of religion. He made it to the NFL, won a playoff game, played some semi-pro baseball, and is a successful television broadcaster on a major network. I dream of that kind of future for my children.
