I definitely didn’t think we’d be here this fast!!! Liked the hire but figured at least 2 years if not 3 before we saw results like this!!

And also what an indictment on Monte Lee and staff!!! How bakich has improved this team over time and the more time Monte spends with with the scocks they just implode more!!! Unfreaking believable!!!

Let’s go tigers!!!!

Grice was very complementary about the staff yesterday. In my view, they were a huge factor in turning things around for him on the mound and the plate. Once he bought in, he has really improved.

So, the argument we’ve heard for several years about how Clemson baseball can’t compete with the Vanderbilts of the world due to endowments/scholarships inequality doesn’t hold water anymore because of coaching? Boom. Bam. Just like that we are a top 10 team.

I think the turnabout with Grice speaks volumes about Bakich and his approach, but it also will speak volumes to recruits looking in. Grice turns from a disappointment to perhaps the most valuable player in college baseball. What MLB team could pass up a potential Babe Ruth? When he goes high in the draft, other players will take notice.
