Taisun I think needs to keep a package in this offense.

Split Dj out wide like they did once last night. Taisun can throw a pass or two and is a better runner then Dj. Taisun isn’t bad it’s Elliot doesn’t know how to use him. All he wants to call is zone read for Taisun. All I’m saying is Taisun gives the offense a wrinkle that could be creative if Tony Elliot had a imagination

I agree, but when he is in there, take out DJU. DJU spread out wide does nothing. Having a WR there would stress the defense more than having DJU spread out at WR.

I mean you could do some wacky trick play with DJ catching the ball and having a pass option but IMO it'd make more sense to split TP7 out to WR for something like that.

I think there’s positives to keeping him involved. He’s a good athlete and it gives defenses something else to prep for.

DJ should not be on the field if TP is playing quarterback. The first play where TP was in there, DJ went out wide, the cornerback looked over a DJ and immediately went up to the line because he knew DJ was not a threat to catch a ball.

If Taisun could complete a pass he would be dangerous because every defense is playing him to run or hand off.

With the exception of a couple of throws, I thought TP7 looked better than DJ5 with the shorter route throws (though DJ5 definitely looked better last night in this category giving me more confidence moving forward with him).
Maybe against UCONN they'll give TP7 the start to let DJ5 heal up and just let'em dress out as an emergency option to get some more work since WF doesn't have the best run defense (something we may be able to take advantage of)

he got hurt, they had Taylor play at least 1 series every game at qb. Just about every time he took a snap, it was a running play. Since they already had this package in the game plan they could keep the current plays and just switch TP for the injured Taylor. Maybe even throw in a few new wrinkles too.
