. . . if people keep trying to resurrect the horse and deny it's dead, then we shouldn't be shocked when others decide to beat the horse some more to drive their point home.

Maybe they should be in private and beating other things other than the dead horse. It would probably relieve a lot of their frustrations and anger.

Maybe they should comment publicly, as they wish, constructively, and everyone else should absorb and or respond that like anyone does w/ stuff they disagree with. Besides, beating the dead horse is not a one-sided thing. Those denying that the horse is dead are exacerbating the problem. They quit trying to resurrect it, and we'll quit beating that horse.
