Swoffie is stepping down? Germans?

Saw on twitter that a search committee has formed to replace ole swoffie. Kind of surprised that many schools got two committee members but we only got one..

This search could be a train wreck; I hope not. Will be interesting to learn who the 5 principal interviewers are when they are announced. The chair is Syracuse President. The initial screeners are ND and Pitt persons, I believe. Where are the original ACC persons on the selection committee?

He already announced his retirement. If there is a search, its probably just an early start for when he does at end of sports year.

I just pray they pick a "football guy." Football is the sport the ACC needs to promote (basketball basically takes care of itself). I realize you guys dislike Swoffie but look what happened to the BIG. Delany (another UNC grad btw) hasn't been gone a year and look at the mess his successor, Kevin Warren, has gotten the conference into.

I fear the ACC wants to go in a PC direction and will focus on female candidates.

Rad or Bubba Cunningham (UNC's AD) would both be good choices although I realize neither school wants to lose their AD.
