Swinney on NC State, what he told Doeren postgame

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney talked on his call-in show about NC State's performance in its 27-21 double OT win Saturday and what he told Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren postgame:
"I told Dave I was happy for him. Hey listen, we've won a bunch. They deserved it. They earned it. What a great moment for coach Doeren and his program at NC State and those kids. We've had a lot of those moments here at Clemson and that was a great one for them. Man, they had a great crowd and environment and their fans were passionate. Man, those kids went and won the game. You just tip your hat. They've got a heck of a team. Knew we were going to be in a battle. NC State is always a team that I've always had a lot of respect for."

We’ve been so generous over the years. Making positive memories for mediocre teams like Syracuse and Pitt and now NC State. It feels kinda good to be selfless and giving like that. Those kids are going to have those great memories for a lifetime. You just can’t beat that.
