The level of noise from the fans after the bells is what we do that is original. If that’s all we have to whine about we are doing great.

I think it (and the bell) prevents the crowd from building up the noise -esp on 3rd downs. Some of the loudest games I’ve attended (Miami and TAMU come to mind) were years ago and well before the influx of sounds and music before plays

I agree the music playing almost right up to the snap takes the noise away from the crowd. It should stop earlier. The bells are fine because it is short and serves as a signal to the crowd to start yelling.

The positive about the piped in music is that it seems to distract opposing players.

That has been going for years. No one noticed until someone started complaining. By the way, it is not a bell, it is a gong.
Or would you rather have a siren going. I really hate that one, especially when you have people with ptsd. That sets some of them off.

Yes. I say we wipe our entire media files from the games. I'll hook up my Spotify account to the speakers and we can all listen to my Death Metal and Black Metal. It's better than generic family friendly Hell's Bells or 80's iconic music for football. It'll be so intense that the crowd will be starting mosh pits in the stands and all we will be hearing are screams of bloody murder for the next 3 hours! It'll be so much better to listen to Vulvodynia, Lorna Shore and Carach Angren than everyone taking naps to "We Will Rock You".
Am I complaining right yet? You people need to lighten up and read the room (or in this case field/stadium) sometimes.

As long as the music gets the intended reaction that's all that matters.

As far as the bell goes - the 'Purple Lamborghini' version got a better response, but can appreciate that it was only used once. I'd like to see a few more things cycled in for 3rd because it can become a little stale.
The Avicii songs were exceptionally well received.
I wouldn't mind seeing Zombie Nation get retired for kickoffs and getting something unique instead. The only real value and awe-factor it gets is when the music gets cut and the fans carry out the 'chorus', but that is timing dependent and seems to rarely happen.
There are a ton of progressive buildup songs and beats available from artists that would support it as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3s8d21tf7PQ something like that for a minute and a half clip? Sign me up.
