Streeter’s Offense at Richmond.

Have any of you bright guys ever done a review of Streeters offensive play calling at Richmond? He led some pretty productive squads when he was there. Why would we assume that an offense led by Streeter here would look the same as TE’s offense?

As long as he can keep Dabo from calling those bubble screens on 3rd & 17 I’m good with it.

He was one of the more successful OC's at the FCS level. Streeter is more the qualified to be Clemosn's next OC if that is the way Dabo leans. One thing I do know is that Dabo has earned my trust in believing he knows what he is doing. Dabo believes. He believe in the good in everything. Some of you could learn a thing or 2 from Dabo. The sky is falling crowd are the ones who got here around 2015. Clemson has a chance to win 10 games in a DOWN year. No doubt in my mind the guy who has gotten Clemson to where it is is still here and Clemson isn't going anywhere. # decommitments aren't changing that.

I had read about Streeter's success right after he was brought on by Dabo. BUT, it is my opinion that when Dabo promoted Tony and Jeff as our OC coordinators, our offense would have been a lot better with Jeff as the only OC at that time.
Plus I believe that if Jeff had been the only OC hire, he would probably still be with Clemson today. It was I believe the CO title with his name that was the deciding factor of him leaving for USF. I personally believe the play call that got us the Natty win against Bama with DW4 and Renfrow, wasn't the only calls that helped us win games before, and after that Natty win against Bama.
Jeff Scott was raised from a small kid to coach college FB, and while at Clemson, he coached up some of our best WR's, and he put some top receivers into the NFL!!!

I have a feeling he would be a much better playcaller than a QB coach. IMO we needed to find a new QB coach anyway.

I have been telling you guys all along, it will be Streeter as OC and Dabo will bring in Cutcliff for a couple of years to groom Boyd or Stoudt

Hopefully, Street will maintain the playbook Elliott had mastered at Clemson. Elliott had a special knack of out thinking the defense by rushing for 7 yards followed by a 5 yard run and then throwing the ball. Even though the DJ pass would be incomplete, the defense was totally caught off-guard.
Wonder if Street realized the wisdom of throwing 3 straight low percentage passes from the 4 yard line versus Georgia ?
