Stop running the QB

Nov 16, 2014, 10:57 AM

Chad Kelly - torn ACL

Stoudt - shoulder injury

Watson - broken collar bone, broken finger, torn ACL

Unless you have a tank at QB like Miss. State, don't run the QB which would mean changing offenses unless you have 3 capable QB's or more.

I've been wrong two times, but this isn't one of them.

GT runs their QB. A lot.

Then we should stop recruiting all these running QB's.

B/c non-running QB's never tear their knee ligaments without contact. Just ask the Arizona Cardinals.

I put part of Watson's injury on the coaching staff. He was on a pace for 20+ carries for the game. Is our offense so inept that we have to risk serious injury to our best player? Our offensive game plan was a recipe for disaster.

The gameplan played no role in DWs injury. He was hurt by the way he planted in the turf. It's possible on every play. Blaming a coach for that is unintelligent or purposefully disingenuous. Either way it's incorrect. Go Tigers!
