I’m sorry dabo and Tony

Sep 28, 2021, 2:20 PM

I was guilty as anyone the past few days for saying oooo we should do this or that. You know what I’ve been an HVAC tech for 15 plus years and if some joe blow came up to me telling me what I was doing wrong and what I needed to do to fix it I’d be ready to deck them. I’m sorry coaches and I’m all in and trust everything you do. You’ve given us 2 natties in the past 5 years and only one other team can say their coaches have done that. GO TIGERS!!!

They get paid million, they don't need you to defend them.

What won us NCs in the past won't necessarily win us one in the future. Things have to change.

I'd say he knows as much about the situation as you do

You must not be very ambitious or very good at your job.

We can do without that response. Go back to looking after your empire.

Just wait until you need an HVAC tech on short notice. Not everyone wants to be the boss. They just like what they do without all the management/owner BS that comes with it. And no, I’m not a HVAC tech.

Wow - This is what Tiger fans have come to? Hope your AC continues to spoil you and you never need the services of a hard working technician. I know I’d charge you triple just as an arrogance fee if I did any work for you. On second thought I’d probably just walk away and leave you on your own.

And 4evor - I agree with you. I posted last week that my position is that Dabo doesn’t tell me how to do my job so I will extend the same courtesy to him.
GO TIGERS!!!

I’m with you. My schedule would be awful busy if he called me and then the cost would be way more than he could afford. This is what’s wrong with our world today. People look down their nose at the ones that are perceived to be below them.

It takes all of us. I managed large operations for 35 years and I’m no better than the janitor. We just had different jobs to do. And if the janitor needed help I’d be right there with him.

Never said tell him how to do his job, simply said he needs

Sep 28, 2021, 3:19 PM

To take action and not be afraid to let heads roll if things don’t start improving. That includes starting positions too. AND HE SHOULD SAY ALL OF THIS IS IN PLAY. No one is safe. Not DJ, not Elliott, not Justyn Ross even!

Then we all can sit back and watch what happens this Saturday. And if it is the same ole same ole with no material changes, THEN it will ratchet up to another level.

Flying a plane in a nosedive for a prolonged period of time will typically kill you. Having a football team fall off this dramatically where everyone in the media is essentially ridiculing you will negatively affect recruiting and lead to some NFL caliber players opting out and others transferring. In other words, it will typically kill a program. Ask FSU.

Not “everyone in the media” is ridiculing this team and staff. Read Herbstreit’s comments. Sorry but RG3’s and Finebaum’s opinions don’t carry a lot of weight for me.

Agree to an extent. Howeve, if there was a new product or tool that could make your job easier, wouldn’t you be open to using it? IMO, their inability to utilize the portal is our downfall. LSU beat us with transfers. OSU (Fields and sermon) beat us. Portal has to be an option or dabos stubbornness may just well ruin our progress in becoming an elite program.

When you average 43.5 pts per game, funny how you forget a missed assignment or an offside penalty. Score more points and don't sweat the small stuff.

What if a customer paid you a lot of money for your HVAC system and it didn’t work, would that lowly peasant “Joe Blow” be justified in bringing your failure to your attention and demand it get fixed ASAP or are you just as imperial and aloof as our coaches and would just say shut up?

No one on this site signs Dabo’s paycheck. That decision is in someone else’s hands (thank God).

Coaches

Sep 28, 2021, 4:13 PM

Its utterly comical the way some of you posters portray coaches as infallible Gods, incapable of making mistakes or doing any wrong. There is only one such cat, and he aint coaching football at Clemson! Newsflash - these guys are human. They are not perfect, they do not have all the answers all the time and they do, in fact, make mistakes.
