to put it nicely, an embarrassment. His argument on ESPN’s “First Take” that "Clemson did not win, Alabama lost" is full of holes. He is simply an instigator of hatred and always seems to be the victim. Sad little man. Needs to go back to acting in soap operas.

I just did some background checking on him to see if he ever played ball.
When I saw that he had "acted" on a soap, well... that kind of put things in perspective.
I was watching because the headline read "Spurrier Says WATSON is Best Player in College Football".

just remember, all fans get uptight when someone on tv says anything negative. their job is to create controversy. they are the tmz of sports. most are not journalists, they are characters. its point/counterpoint. thats all it is. the hope is that people get pi$$ed off. drives business.

I expected him to say something like..
That white devil dabo purposely threw to hunter so that a white guy would get the glory of winning a nc. Clemson has 14 wrs on the roster and 10 are black, but a white guy gets the game winning td.

...the way he was pressing and over emphasizing his moronic points I could tell he didn't really believe it himself.
The premise of the discussion was BS to begin with, typical rhetorical tools of sports pundits trying to come up a with a reason to have a discussion. BOTH THINGS HAPPENED. Clemson won AND Bama lost.
