In honor of The State of the Union, here’s how the biggest names in Clemson would describe the state of our athletic department:
Dabo: well, shoot. We’re just ready to spot the ball. Excited. You’re only guaranteed 12 of these a year. The fun is in the winning.
DHood: the juxtaposition between softball and basketball is astounding. I would describe our programs as transcendent. Of NIL, of outside noise and distractions, and of pressure they put on themselves. Truly amazing what we have accomplished the last 10 years here.
Mickey: the state of our athletics is South Carolina. Specifically the upstate portion of South Carolina.
Neff: so, football is world class. Baseball is undefeated. Our soccer team won their third national title. Basketball? Hey, did you hear we got a softball team? And they’re pretty good, too!!

Hey nctigs, saw your post earlier. Always appreciate all your info. I agree with the insiders. I think Brad will take another job. TO seems too close to the situation to objectively see the problems. Nothing would shock me at this point, but seems like all the experts agree he will not return one way or another.
