If he was drafted in todays NFL he would’ve been unstoppable, imagine this CJ on todays Bills roster the way the game has changed

Just watch the way Deebo Samuels is used, CJ in that role with a good QB would be a force to deal with. They spread RBs out more now then trying to run up the middle 30 times a game that’s not the type of back Spiller was

More RBs are sped out and used in the passing game now.. you still have big bruiser every down back but also a lot of teams have a smaller athletic back to use in different formations now. Weren’t many when he first entered theNFL

Also if he was in the Bills offense now no doubt he would have done great.. he was all they had on offense when he was drafted

Spiller would have excelled when he played, if he could have ever stayed healthy. He was plagued with a rash of minor, but performance impacting, injuries.
