It’s hard to be patient when you swing and miss in back to back classes. 2 years of subpar RB recruiting is alarming, no matter how anyone tries to spin it.

Winning is hard said two time NC winning coach Dabo Swinney.

I fully expect these two coaches to get it done. I also like what Austin is doing as a recruiter.

Slow down boss man, spillers only been a position coach for one year and Grisham for 2. They haven't had the advantage of being able to recruit guys long term yet. They'll get it straightened out, plus we have one of the best recruiters in the nation as head coach. I see no reason to worry.

If we have the same kind of production from our running backs this year that we saw last year, I expect CJ's stock as a coach will rise.

Ok, head to head Grisham clearly has the advantage as he has one season on CJ. As for best recruits Beaux has MONSTER potential just needs a little more focus. Dacari Collins has looked pretty good in limited action and EJ who I expected big things from was hurt. CJ actually hasn't had the same success but keep in mind that Mafah and Shipley committed while TE was the RB coach and the bad line play wasn't as obvious to some. Since then everything or lack thereof is on CJ. I'm not too stressed just yet as it's nowhere near early signing day and a LOT can change by December. We will see. The line playing better and much better offensive production will help CJ a lot. I would love to land a stud this season, but that said, if not and we don't lock up a Bell Cow RB the next Cycle it's time to move on.

I think we forget that these recruits probably never saw Spiller play. Being a great player doesn't automatically make you a great coach/recruiter.
