It would seem like a tremendous niche opportunity for MENSA or a similar organization to embody a social/relational resource for such persons to rub shoulders with at least some semblance of peer intelligence. I know those interactions can be very difficult to foster and cultivate. Just curious.

I was in special ed up until the 2nd grade, but it turned out that I was a genius with ADD. Boy, was the state of New Jersey wrong lol.

I was in exceptional classes which some places like the midwest are what they called the classes for retarded kids.
My mother had a bunch of co-workers from Ohio and she couldn't understand why they told her I "looked so normal."
