Attended was the 63-17 beat down ... All the coots around me were hurling insults and screaming at four of us.
I finally turned around and yelled as loud as I could, "I'm glad we will only have to put up this for one half!"
All of the agitators were gone and there empty seats everywhere before the end of the second quarter.

So Ray Tanner's response was that there was no confirmation that anything happened.
What about the claims last year when USC took that butt whooping in the valley and said Clemson players were using racial slurs?
We ever get any "confirmation" of that?

Never will. Just accept it. We've been seeing this from little brother program since 2003 with no response from the Usuc athletic dep. They don't accept us beating them like we are/have been so they come up with any/every excuse they can find where they're the innocent and we are the guilty. Won't ever change. Just accept that they will make any excuse as to why beat them and whatever excuse they have is ok with them. But us tiger fans know the truth and enjoy seeing it. They will get under your skin and test your patience but that's only because they know just like us in that they will never come close or near matching the dominance we have over them.

Just what sort of color do they think 90% of their players are? I remember last year's fiasco when they whined about unnamed players calling them names. So now that's okay? At what point do they look at their own supporters? Bottles, batteries, loogies, middle fingers, racial insults. I also recall 1983, when my boss gave me tickets in west stands at the roach and my ex and I went in Clemson gear. The usual insults. But we got to listen to one lout scream "COON!" repeatedly at the top of his lungs whenever the Fridge made a tackle. How does that sound to their own team made up of majority African Americans?
Not sure what it is, booze, meth, inbreeding or what that seems to lead that fan base drop all inhibition when things are not going perfectly their way and show their butts worse each time.

I lived in Columbia for 8 years . The typical midlands raised USuC fans are immodest to the enth degree . There is a stagnant culture there not dissimilar to many other SEC fanbases unfortunately . It is a shame to see that stuff from their own coaches and mentors ...but it is no surprise .

It always cracks me up when one school claims to be less racist than the other.
Let’s be honest. Both our schools are predominately made up of white southerners. Both fan bases are uncomfortably racist.

There's so many claims of racism over trivial events that America is insensitive to the charge. Let's not make it worse for it disrespect those who have suffered racism which does so much more harm than hurting someone's feelings.
