That's interesting ... Hugh Freeze won't go back to Ole Miss

Don't think they would want Dan Mullen.
Is Matt Rhule a good fit ? Not sure.

People simply do not change. Kiffin will always be who we know him to be. A ##### for the highest bidder with no particular interest in program building. Ole Miss will go the way of every other place he has head coached, into the crapper. I am sure it will be different this time though, Auburn.

I dont get all the hate with Kiffin.....I think the guy has

changed alot from his younger days. Its been awhile since his younger days with Oakland, UT and USC. He was arrogant and out of line alot and got humbled. Things changed after that and I have always like who he is and the program he's got at Ole Miss. Yes, he pokes fun on twitter and doesn't take himself that serious.
Going to Auburn gives him a better platform to the top....I mean the every coach except Harsin has either gone undefeated or played for a national title since Barfield in the 70s...who followed Shug Jordan. History tells you that coaching at Auburn likely gets you a SEC title and a shot in the playoffs every few years. Kiffin knows the SEC and how to coach, so I think its almost certain that'll happen....especially since Saban is on the back nine walking up the 17th fairway.
I wish Kiffin would stay at Ole Miss but I cant knock the guy for going to Auburn. Besides, on the money comment you made aboutt he highest bidder...when in his career did he make a move solely for money? He left UT for his hometown school, USC...where else did he pimp himself out?

Auburn at least is a destination job and they can structure a contract so he can't leave cheaply.
Even if he could, where would he go?
With their willingness to cheat and the NCAA not enforcing any rules, what job is better than Auburn?
I guess the negative is being the SEC West facing LSU and Alabama every year.

I don't understand why Kiffin would leave Ole Miss to go to

Auburn, with the all but guaranteed outside interference from their "Super Boosters." Does Ole Miss not get the same SEC TV money as Auburn? What is the enchantment there?

I can't imagine that anything official would take place before the end of the games next weekend. I'm sure Auburn is willing to throw crazy guaranteed money in someone's direction though.

Kiffen doesn't stay any were for very long. He understands that eventually you ll have to take some down season if you do.
Plus he's an LA guy. Did you think he would stay in Mississippi for very long?
