So...Spur @ $4 Million..and Dabo is @ ? Million. Both won 11
Jan 16, 2014, 10:41 AM
|
|
One won 3 straight while other (Dabo) 2 straight & a big BCS game win against the team that's gone to more BCS games than anyone in the Nation (9) and had a 24-1 record.
Saying..shouldn't Dabo be closer to $4M..which I know he's not.
What say you?
Congrats TiGER FB TEAM on splendid season & OB win!

The entire coot nation will regret those same words. Slurrier has been winning with decent recruiting and his overwhelmingly experience over young inexperience coaching at Clemson. Not so inexperienced anymore, and with us out recruiting Slurrier, we will take them back over starting in November. They won't believe that even when it happens, but it will. And hopefully they will keep Slurrier way into his wheel chair years.

Since Dabo has given some of his to Chad Morris, Venables & others so to keep them at Tigertown.
Saying..don't be greedy, and give where needed. Ha!

That's where the SEC network money is going

The extra few million they bring in is going to the coaches. Brett Bielma at Arkansas make around 4 mill too, for 0 SEC wins I believe.

coaches. Richt even go in a little trouble giving coaches "his" money as bonus, you'll never see the SAC doing that,he's all about himself.
Look at Jimbo, got his 4 mil and lost his DC that was only getting $500,000. Dabo will get his now, but look for the staff to get bumps.

Probably a bonus for 10+ wins, going to a BCS bowl, winning a BCS bowl, etc.
Maybe we should give a bonus for winning the last regular season game.

Are people still arguing this?
Jan 16, 2014, 11:28 AM
|
|
Which came first the chicken or the egg?
Who brought both coordinators to Clemson?
How many fans were so excited we got Morris with his "one year of college coaching experience?"
How many fans were really behind the Venables hire with the "it was really the other Stoops brother that had the good defense and after he left the Oklahoma defense went down?"
Dear Lord man. Dabo is the CEO type of coach and when you are the CEO you appoint the best people to be on your primary staff. That is what Dabo has done, Dabo is the reason those coordinators are here, and therefore Dabo is the primary reason we have won 10+ games the last 3 years.
Not to mention the fact that most on here love Morris except for one game out of the year when he has his brain farts.

Who hired them dude. Where would Bama be without Saban hiring good assistance. Do you really believe Saban could win alone. Les Miles has good coaching, and Miles has been known to make Dumb A$S in game decisions, when he should have let his OC/DC have more input. Dabo lets his coaches that coach these kids day in and day out make the calls of what they believe their players can do best. If we have a winning season next season, I believe Dabo will be ask to come and lead other schools back as he has led Clemson back. Dabo doesn't have to be a great coach. He is a ### good leader/planner of putting together the right group of COACHES. Dabo and his hand picked coaches have beat HCs in 2012 and 2013 that most would pick over Dabo. Now do you still believe that Dabo hasn't earned a raise?

His job is to make tough decisions. Those two decisions in particular seem to have played out quite well.

Bill, I honest think before Dabo's contract is reconsidered he needs to beat USuCk. I know he didn't cause the fumbles and he wasn't the one throwing the interceptions but ultimately I give him and him alone credit for putting the right people in place and gathering the right players, therefor, I lay the responsibility of winning and losing squarely on his shoulders.
He is everything to this team. He has the authority, responsibility and is therefor accountable.
On a side note, I'm glad most of the world thinks the reason Clemson is winning is because of Chad Morris. I'd give up five Chad Morrises to keep half a Dabo.

At first I thought Morris was the real brains behind the operation. But as time as has passed it is quite obvious that Clemson has more talent than most of the teams you play.
Dabo deserves all the credit when it comes to recruiting.

Dabo took a paycut to give to Chad so he could keep him at Clemson. That might keep the admin from offering more at this time.

Spurrier actually coaches something Dabo has to farm out to others to do it for him. South Carolina does not have a separate coach for the offence. Spurrier is the Head coach-Offensive Co. National Championship, 10 SEC and one ACC championships, Three different programs where he has been voted Coach of the year and second in the most wins in SEC history behind Bear Bryant on top of being the recipient of the Heisman trophy. A couple more accomplishments and I think he will just about be as good as Dabo.

here is a question coot. why do you have a tiger handle on a rivals site. only thing i can think of is you are a coward that was outed for who you are. here is an idea. crump hardly ever bans your kind. switch your handle over to something you can be proud of. eatacock would be my suggestion.
