Sort of non Clemson related, (even though my son gets

Mar 17, 2015, 11:19 AM

excited to hear the words Clemson on the radio or TV) took my soon to be four year old fishing yesterday. I'm telling you, taking a little one fishing like that will test your patience and drive you to drinking but to see his face when he caught a fish yesterday was worth it. He smelled his hand and said it "smells like fish" and I told him "that's a good thing when your fishing". He repeated that several times on the way home. Being a dad to a wonderful son is so much fun.

Awesome DAD! Keep making kids of Clemson parents raised the right way. Sometimes not easy but always rewarding with genaerational paybacks.

I remember fishing with my Dad

Mom would sit in the back of the boat with her head covered with a padded seat cushion so we wouldn't catch her head with a hook when casting.

And, the first fish I caught was a bloody mess (literally) when we got it to the boat. Not sure what I did in hooking it, but it was not that fish's lucky day.
