But I noticed that Dabo went out and got a 5-star punter committed. I have to say, this has me a bit concerned. If I am reading the tea leaves correctly, our coaches do not have a lot of confidence in our offense moving forward, thus we had to put the full-court press on elite kicking talent as a last-minute move of desperation.
Anyway, color this Tiger Fan concerned. One thing I have noticed is that when we do not punt the ball, our team always wins. You can read between the lines on that one if you like.

This reminds me of how bad our punting game was in 2016 where we had to use out QB as the punter. All downhill from here.

I'm not sure we recruited him. I think 5 stars just pretty much call these days and ask if they can be walk-ons. We seem to have an awful lot of them hanging around the program lately.

We're scheduled to play Georgia in '24 right?
I'm pretty sure Dabo is setting this up to rout UGA by scoring only safeties. He's looking to top this year's field goal only plan. A top notch punter will be key, obviously, as we'll be able to repeatedly pin them on the goal line.

I thought that with this being DJ's first season as a starter, Dabo recruits a 5 star punter to let DJ know that it will be easier in his second season as a starter, so give everything he has this season bc the next will be easy!!!

I would not be surprised if Swinney has a wildcat formation worked into the playbook for this guy. The advantage is that the other team will be utterly confused as to why we are punting on 2nd down, then QB draw up the middle. This may work couple of times before teams catch up to us though.
