EXPECTING to win. A boatload of a lot of fans of other teams approach games HOPING to win.
Know where I heard that? from close friends who happen to be Gamecock fans describing the difference between us and them!

Not confident at all. We have proven we are good enough to win this game but we will need a good week of practice and prep.

Dave Doeren has made it a mission in his NCSU coaching career to let the college football world know his disdain for Dabo and the Clemson football team.
DD has done things so blatantly insulting and attempts to deliberately hurt Clemson players, it is an attitude that permeates the NC State football team.
I also think that NC State is coming into this game with very little respect for this Clemson team.
Some CLEAR and TACTFUL reminders of all of this to the Clemson players will be a NICE playing edge, placing a BIG CHIP on their shoulders, and let them see that red devil on their shoulders, clearing the path to another Clemson ACC championship.

Yes. All the pieces are coming together. Wins like yesterday tend to light fires. O is starting to roll and is now loaded with confidence, D will be close to 100% healthy, will lick its wounds and come back salty, fans will be fired up and the house will be full, got the bulletin board material and Dabo doesn't like DD. Clemson rarely fails in these situations.

Not sure about "WE" but "HRT" is very confident going into this game.
Why? The defense will want to show it was a one time deal and come out like their hair is on fire. Nancy State has shown some glaring weaknesses. Plus, with us struggling last year in their place it took OT to get us out of there.
The Offense is playing better and it's at our place and Emezie and Ikkie Ekwonu are gone and the pack miss them more than people give credit for.
I think the offense builds off that game and actually plays even better(runs it better) against Nancy.
Putting a complete game together against a team that beat you last season is what I am looking for. The focus and motivation level I anticipate will be off the charts.
I'm confident.
