Honestly there are many fanbasess that you cannot be too critical of. Georgia fans have a right to be excited, they are relevant. They don't remember how to act like they been there before though, because most of them never seen their last championship.

While rare....extremely rare, you can eventually find a jawja person to have a reasonable conversation about something. Normally, there are DVMs from the vet school or similar. Sigh, my old roommate was Jawja alum eventually working as the county epidemiologist. He had a great line when folks would call up about asking about any health warning: His canned response was: "If it is wet and sticky, don't touch it" - that has to be something learned the hard way at jawja. Meanwhile, a uOF5c person would try and **** it and that is how the zombie apocalypse will start. Maybe NC State.

I don’t. I have an extremely clear memory of walking back to the car in ‘82, being threatened every step of the way. Only thing that kept us safe was we were a group of 4 guys.

In 82, we (4 guys) were walking back to the car on the sidewalk after the loss in Athens, when a pickup truck full of rednecks in the back pulled up beside us and started yelling and waving their dog rags in our faces. One of our group grabs one of the rags out of their hands and asks them a simple question... Where does the black on the dog rag come from? They just looked stupid and our guy wipes his butt with it and throws it on the ground. They put the truck in park and all started to jump out when a cop came by and told them to get the truck moving or have it towed. I thought for sure we were going to get into a knockdown dragout right there on the sidewalk, but fortune stepped in.
Nah... I'll never go to another game in Athens.
