why do we never hear a single mention of Oliver Jones? He's bigger than Isaiah Battle, so why isn't he mentioned, given the OL is still a puzzle to be worked out? I assume he's not making any kind of push, but I'm wondering if someone can shed some light as to why.

Most likely due to the fact that Oliver Jones isn't quite ready to play yet. Battle has all the talent and they are trying to get him motivated to buy in to the system more.

O.J. came in last year out of shape, bad. Im pretty sure he had an injury in high school that kinda prevented him from moving alot, and he packed on weight. He could barely move when he got to Clemson and was shedding a lot of fat. Works hard, there's just no way you could put him on the field in the shape he was in. Pretty sure him and spencer region are in the same category, both can play football but how long can you leave them out there before they are dog tired. He's probably still struggling with weight

I don't think he's as overweight at Region, but he's also probably not as strong at this point.

he had a major injury his JR year of high school that set him back a ways, so he likely needs more development that some.

Thanks. Glad to hear there is an explanation other than he just ain't all that. Also glad to hear he's working hard to become a contributor. So, maybe next year is what you're saying?
