Some positive comments on the offense

Three things jumped out at me as marked improvements over the first 6 games:
1 - No drops by the WR's. The receivers caught everything they could reasonably be expected to. 2 - Running game was hugely effective. Even with losses on the OL, run blocking up the middle was a lot better. 3 - Throws over the middle - there were several nice throws down the middle, some of them through some pretty tight windows.
Certainly there's still a lot of room for improvement, but at least - to me - it seems like the offense is starting to come around.

One drop - the 1 foot pass to Williams.

Well, he caught that but it got stripped. So not technically a "drop". But an ill-advised pass I think.

The blocking by the wr seemed better this game too.***

DJ did fit some nice throws in. And the wr did a nice job getting them but there are too many times guys are covered. wr's should be getting some separation more often.
Our D which is very good surrenders many more open passes to opponents that we ever get with our O. I dont know if its our routes, talent, or scheme but passing game is very iffy. I will say wr caught it better and contested throws yesterday. The throws to Collins and Ross showed promise but we need it to keep getting better.
