Some of you guys refuse to try to realistically evaluate our Tigers. And some of us root for our Tigers while recognizing that they have serious weaknesses.

I have been to all of our games except Cuse and ND and cheered my guts out for our victory, but I can recognize the deficiences that keep us from being a top ten team. It is completely possible to do both at the same time, despite what many on this board would have you believe.

You just cannot have as many question marks as we have and get into the CFP.

So what is the repercussion if we end the season as a top 10 team? You’re trying to flex while we’re 12th with a minimum of 5 games left. Are you rooting to lose more to be right? Because if we win out we will mostly certainly be a Top 10 team. We would probably be the second highest end of season ranking for any Clemson prior to Dabo becoming head coach. I assume you won’t acknowledge you were wrong.

The issue is not seeing the forest through the trees. While our record is winning. The players and system are not advancing. There’s zero indication of a sustainable foundation remaining as was established when we transition from Tajh-Deshaun-Trevor.

Quite honestly, I do not know where we are, as there are a couple of elite teams and everybody else. I think we are really in the 8 - 12 range, but then again look at a team like Oklahoma State that looked great for the first half of the season and then the wheels came off.

I think if anything, we have beat a good many teams this year only because we have more depth ....... not because we played a lot better than their two and three start players.

I don't disagree. This is a strange year in college football. Everyone seems to have some flaws. There is greater parity than I have seen in a while. It makes for lots of exciting games. Unfortunately, our Tigers seem a bit more flawed than some others.

The team has the talent. Do they have the will, the drive and the heart? They gave up on Saturday. Sometimes this happens when the best players are not playing, or playing the right balance of reps.
