Some context on the Falcons draftee cussing...

He said later that he and his Grandma watched wrestling together. Their favorite was Booker T. Pretty clear he was trying to make a WWE-style entrance and got carried away.
Also... some of you old f#rts need to tap the brakes with the sermons on class and decency. No one really cares what you think. Not everyone grew up like you.

Whether or not some people were raised under less than ideal circumstances does not excuse their language or behavior. Decency and good manners still matter where I come from, as well as where I currently live. Those of you who want to bash "older" posters could step back and learn something in the process.
As I learned a long time ago, "Silence is golden," especially when your reputation is the one aspect of your life you cannot afford to lose.

Anyone that thought what he said was O.K. has issues. Please don't ever ask one of my granddaughters out for a date. You will be educated on common decency very quickly.

I guess a lot of people don't teach those two very important things to their progeny any longer . No need to say that class and decency aren't your cup of tea , your post illustrated it clearly .
On a public forum we are all allowed to say what we like , wether we should or not .

Maybe if we all agreed that no words were offensive.

That way nobody would be worried about words any more.
I think it has more to do with people needing to judge other people to feel better about themselves.
There is no rational reason why using certain words is morally inferior to using other words.

Would you allow your 8 year old child to say gd and drop f bombs? If the answer is no then you feel they are inappropriate also.

is because I know the way others think. It helps my kids out if they avoid certain words. It has nothing to do with morality. It's just being practical and anticipating how others think.
There is nothing moral about the sounds people make. What they intend to do with those sounds is different. But a word itself isn't immoral or racist, or cruel or evil etc...
That said, I would never have done what the UCLA guy did. I don't use profanity at my place of business or around older strangers.

The only classy thing around that kid last night was the way Deion handled it. No excuse for the guy drafted. I'm sure Arthur Blank was not impressed.
