As with so many colloquialisms, the pronunciation and the spelling are quite different. Although pronounced Aye, it is spelled Eh. I'm not the kind of guy to correct people, but I have spent some time up there and used to work for a Canadian company.

According to this article...not very much. From other articles, it appears that the top quarterbacks get around $400k Canadian. But it was an old article (2013).

first Million dollar contract and it made news. I don't recall any details but just remember looking at salaries after that and was surprised how low they were. Like some of the big contracts were in $250k range but you gotta remember that Canada income tax is around 50% also. I don't know how that translates if you maintain a US citizenship?

League minimum looks like it's 65k but most players make around 80-100k with bonuses and such. They also have pension and medical. Not to bad
