Clemson is not going away. We still will be one of the premier programs for a while, and I will not be surprised if we win another natty or two in the near future. It will hinge on better performance from our QB, our OL and wide receivers, but I believe those pieces are on place. Time will tell, but old Duga thinks we still have a place at the "Elite Program" table. It will help our cause if the rest of our conference steps up their programs, too, but we aren't going anywhere.

Yup

I have almost no faith the league is going to improve any time soon, but we don't have to play ranked teams to control our own destiny so far in the playoff era outright.

Get to the playoff and for sure the Tigers can win another title. Like the article above, I see zero obstacles in our way this year again, & nothing suggests that will change in the future in league play. Clemson is going to dominate again (& again, & again) & the league will have to deal with it (& love it, really).

So … according to the stats …

… Clemson has the 5th best team out of those listed, and has 2 Nattys and 2 losses in the final since 2015 … that must mean that the sum of our coaching, training, preparation, culture, and attitude must be better than the rest, right? ??

Yes, I know the timeframes are different, but I still believe it holds true. ??

Clemson's schedule is definitely better than most. Clemson has a cakewalk to the playoffs with the very easy ACC schedule. Clemson does have a good playoff record. Getting to the playoffs every year has significantly helped Clemson in recruiting.

It's gonna be a slaughter

The Tigers are gonna absolutely blast through this schedule; the only opponent in the top 25 of this list is Notre Dame AND we have a bye-week before that game (ND does not).

It's gonna look like 2018 all over again! I know some don't love the lack of competition, but the ND game is huge & the playoff will have competition by nature. Can't wait!

The key will be team health

I predict that DJ will have a much better season and that receivers will not be dropping so many passes. Cade will become a reliable backup also. Our defense will remain elite and may be even better than last season. Go Tigers!!
