So who is responsible for deficits?

I just want to get Trumpkins on the record for who is responsible for spending and the budget. It seems some of them want to flip flop on who is to blame for the exploding deficit, as they want to hold Obama and Biden responsible during their term, but blame congress when Trump was in charge. So what is it?

It is the congress, and as I recall they shut down 2x under Trump, the 2nd for over a month because we could not agree on the continuing resolution and the amount spent on Border security.

Yeah, it's all of the above. I'd argue however, government over-spending to give money away via social programs is a much worse "investment" than, say, funding a man-mission to Mars.

All social programs do over the long term is keep people dependent and not able to generate an income for themselves.

I'm not seeing any Trumpkins laying the responsibility of spending and the National Debt on the POTUS. Kind of odd considering how they blasted and blamed Obama for the deficit accumulated during his term. I remember "Obama spending money like a drunken sailor" was a common theme among the repubs. I'm sure Biden will be blamed for the debt he incurs. They looked the other way on "The Business Man". LOL

I was more concerned about the racist-sexist judge, President Hussein appointed to the Supreme Court than I was his shared responsibility of the trillion dollar deficits.
