so this is our roster as far as guards and wings now...

Two scoring PGs in 6-1 Dawes and 5-10 Honor.

6-4 Alex Hemenway

6-3 Chase Hunter

and incoming recruit 6-3 Beadle who is pretty thin and probably is another year away from helping the team much.

Besides Dawes and Honor not a very imposing unit of size and ability. Going to hope that Hemenway and Hunter really improve a lot.

All of these guys are going to have to stay healthy or we are in trouble regarding any backcourt depth.

We need at least one or two really good transfers, and/or at least one good recruit to come in and help out that position.

We lack wings in the 6’5-6’8 range. That’s why the Newman and O Max transfers hurt so much.

Hemenway should not have replaced Newman...

He was getting better every game last year, and is a lot more athletic and better defender.

Has posted good consistent bball posts on the program as a whole. Others have too but I've seen more attacks and justification than reality.

I've also seen people, myself included reference Baylor as a model. Some say it's recruiting, others say it's transfers. Truth is in the middle.

You've got to develop buy in to the program and develop talent. Neither seems to be the case with Brad. Reference transfers out of the program. If you really care about Clemson bball, do yourself a favor and read this article... But understand he's taken transfers, but dig deeper and see the selection of transfer. Not someone with 1 or 2 yrs eligibility.

Imo, this is why we need to change course with a new coach. The right person can get it done at Clemson.

I agree that the right head coach could get it done at Clemson and do it without cheating.
I appreciate that Brownell hasn't had any NCAA problems, but Best is the Standard
Lack of basketball history and being a "football school" are just excuses.
Not just Drew at Baylor, but Oats at Alabama, Musselman at Arkansas, Underwood at Illinois,Cronin at UCLA, Beard at Texas Tech, Bennett at UVa, Hamilton at FSU, etc
Did the basketball facilities change the direction of the programs at Alabama or Arkansas? Or, did those coaches just do a great job?
