I don't think so. Neff just became AD. ADs like to be on the job a year before any major coaching changes.
Depends on how the BOT feels. Most of them are like wait until next season for basketball.

I’m not sure, cause I’m not aware that we have any goals for a basketball team, other than to put five players on the court at once.
Clemson football is very clear: you make bowl games, you do not lose to wake forest, you not lose to South Carolina, and be in the ACC championship conversation most years. You do these 4 things, and you are more than likely hang around as Clemson’s football coach, in spite of Dabo raising the bar tremendously.
With basketball, I’m just not so sure the goals are very clear: make the NIT at least? Win 20 games? I don’t know, I’m not sure if anybody knows

The goal is put good students in class and community, and don't be emarasing as far as the record. Brad is very comfortable with those requirements.

Meanwhile, those of us who are realists will set back and watch this program get destroyed. The Brownell apologists will say "who else are we gonna get"? I guess they are right. ???? We have the best coach available.......

I’ve hardly talked to a tiger fan in the last few years that supports Brad. Most don’t even watch or keep up with BB anymore. If you think BB has support then you are in a very few. Having a team must be your goal.

Exactly, I talk to a lot of Clemson fans and all I know is one holdout right now who still supports Brownell , and I’m not sure why he’s still on the Brad Brownell bandwagon, they may be related somehow. Every time we discussed basketball, which is not often anymore, he points out the sweet 16 run. He’s like a gamecock fan talking about the “5-peat”..

regardless of performance. I would say that's admirable but you wouldn't want him to be Clemson's AD else Tommy West would still be our football coach.
