This whole thing is a disaster

Aug 12, 2022, 7:14 PM

Really hope he can come back from this but I think his reputation is just too far tarnished for this to not follow him for a long time. I really hate that because he is one of my all time favorite players in any sport. Here's to hoping he fixes everything and can get on the field to ball out this season.

Yes. A true disaster. He had a spot reserved on the Ring of Honor, but I think this will keep his name off

I think the problem was some of them were actual massage therapists. He should of just got prostitutes.

He will turn it around. Hopefully people will accept it.

I have complete faith in him on and off the field. Sure he blew it, but he will live a life of giving and being a good person moving forward.

DW4 was a great person prior coming to Clemson, and he was that very same person prior to, and after entering the NFL. Since entering the NFL, he has shown what type of person he is, and that was having a good and kind heart in his body. Just ask the cafeteria workers for the Texans what type of person that DW4 was, and still is. I would bet they don't believe a word of the garbage that's being said about DW4.

My opinion of DW4 before this BS, was that he is an outstanding young man with a ton of gentleness, and kindness in his heart for others. I also truly believe that his mother done an excellent job raising DW4 even with her having to work more than one job so that her kids had what they needed to help them stay out of the streets, and out of serious trouble with the police that has plagued black families, and young black youth across the entire country.

Not for a second have I believed any part of what those women have said about DW4, and I still don't believe a word of it. I totally believe that this was a plot/plan by one woman at the beginning to assonate the character of DW4 to set him up to be sued, or threaten him with a suit by the attorney that she knew before hand, or had heard of his sleazy reputation.

When she went to the attorney with her story, she was then told that a case like the one she was telling would be hard to prove with just her word against DW4's. I totally believe that the attorney told her if she could find other women to collaborate her story, then they would have a case against a very rich NFL QB as in DW4, and that's when she talked a friend or more that she knew well that worked that business, to come forward and tell similar stories as hers about DW4, and that is when her plan to scam DW4 took of bc, it was no longer just her word against DW4's, it is now several women telling like stories about how DW4 was sexually abusing women in the massage therapist profession around Houston Texas. There was an attempt by that sleazy attorney to get DW4 to pay up before any of this was ever made public, and I'm sure that DW4 was told by sleazy attorney if he didn't pay whatever they were asking for, that they would make it public to add a bigger threat to DW4 to pay up. DW4 felling he had done nothing wrong, he tells sleazy attorney that he wasn't paying them a dime for something he did do.

The attorney told those few women the next steps, and they agreed, and that is when more and more women kept coming forward for a chunk of easy free money that was being scammed from DW4, and I would bet my right arm this is the way this whole story has gotten blown up the way that it has. It was started by one woman making up a story to scam DW4, and her story went from just her, and that's the way she waned it at the beginning, to 24 more women with their hands out, and this cut woman #1 pay out way down, and she is probably the one holding out for a bigger cut than the other women got, I mean it was her scam, and she feels that she deserves the bigger portion bc it was her scam!!!! If I was a heartless piece of trash that was so jealous of DW4's fortune for playing a game he loved, I would probably feel that it was my scam, and I deserve more of what DW4 earned than the others that jumped in on my scam and got paid!!!

Take into consideration that no one knows exactly how long it took for Attorney and woman #1 to get the ball rolling with getting a couple more women to swear

That’s quite the story, almost completely unbelievable.

Re: He will turn it around. Hopefully people will accept it.

Aug 13, 2022, 1:41 PM

I don't know if it's true or not. May never know what actually happened.

But the story told above is *certainly* believable. There are sleazy women who hire sleazy lawyers to try to get money out of rich people all the time. Those sleazy lawyers will sometime recruit plaintiffs, since more plaintiffs means more money for them is/when rich person settles just to make it go away.

Absolutely believable that 26+ women, a sleazy lawyer and team owner conspired against him. Deshaun even said he’s “getting help”, if this is all
some conspiracy, what’s even he acknowledging he needs help with/for?

Bro just stop! DW4 has a problem, he admitted the same that he does have a problem by saying he's seeking help. What he has done is not terrible but it's not what a Clemson man should be doing. You don't go get massages from 60+ different low level massage therapist is cheap hotels and not have a motive behind it. Spin it any way you want to but he went there for s3x and the massage was four-play, PERIOD. If it didn't come to light it could've been A LOT worse later bc everything you do gets boring after awhile and you try to up the experience and there's no telling what would've happened then. DW4 may just be addicted to s3x and that's fine but when you try to force someone in to preforming s3x acts in any way that is a problem especially when you are a role model for kids. Now with that said, do I believe every single one of them? Hell nah! But the chances that there are 25+ that came out, and that he admitted he got massages from, are all lying is astronomical to say the least. He definitely had his kink / fantasy and tried to play into it, a lot. There is no way that girl #1 can get in touch with all those others without having access to his phone or putting a public post out looking for others and that would've been seen by a bunch of others which no one has said they've seen

So NOW he’s sorry?!?

Aug 12, 2022, 8:57 PM

It feels like he is just saying that because his suspension might be extended.

If the judge felt like he wasn’t repentant, I’m guessing that means that he hadn’t apologized for his role.

Even if you’re completely innocent, which he likely isn’t, it’s still good to apologize for what those women have been through. It’s possible to do that without admitting guilt for more severe crimes.

He needs PR help, not just legal help.

I’m so ready for this to be over.

I have a feeling Deshaun has been "handled" by a team of legal and PR experts for the past year. When he speaks, you can believe he has been coached on what to say and what not to say. And you certainly don't want to apologize for anything PRIOR to an investigation or trial.

Remember when this whole thing started, Deshaun was adamant he did nothing wrong and would fight each and every charge for as long as it took to reclaim his good name. Then the lawyers go involved and explained how the real world works. He clammed up and eventually settled. It was the financially smart thing to do, but it probably ticks him off. And even this "apology" is most likely a staged event orchestrated by his PR team.

Portion of "Massage Therapists" perform massages of ########. You don't see dudes lining up to go to the dental hygenist twice a month. Let's not rush out there and paint these gals as Mother Teresa, I'm confident this is a not an uncommon occurrence in their field . By today's accepted public persona standards DW4 has done everything he needs to do so everyone can move on.

Here are the facts:

1) Not indicted. Indictment rates are well over 95% in most states. So the State felt they had no criminal case

2) Settlements have been made with Plaintiffs. Case closed, they got $$ if they just wanted an apology then this would have settled long ago. These women have shown they really only cared about a payout. And when DW4 didn't settle with first Plaintiff for $75K it tells you she and her attorney thought the harm was likely minor.

3) DW4 has already missed 1 year of play, albeit he was paid, but that miss of a year is a big deal in his ability to get back to star level play

4) The gutless NFL has mismanaged this cased from the start. They have all the facts and DW4 went through their process, now that the NFL did not get it's Kangaroo Court verdict they are playing games. They don't need more time, they have mulled over this for heading on 2 years.

5) DW4 is not at all guiltless and did make some major errors in judgement whose optics are really bad. He appears to be working to remedy and should be given the opportunity to live his life.

If the judge felt he wasn't repentant enough (and considering the possibility he has nothing to be repentant of), wasn't that taken into consideration when she handed down the 6-game suspension?

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-20yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

In reality we are at 17 games suspended and counting

Aug 13, 2022, 8:14 AM

I'm kind of tired of hearing about the suspension as is if he hasn't already been suspended for a year. I know that technically last year wasn't a suspension and that he was paid, but regardless he wasn't allowed to play football. The loss of playing time is much more of an issue than the loss of money for athletes at his level.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He did a pretty good job of saying, "I did a lot stupid yet

non-illegal stuff" in a way that would lead others to believe he was also remorseful about the things he's accused of if the person believed he was guilty of the illegal part. All of this to try and stop the appeal from yielding worse results I assume.

"All the women" probably includes his mom and auntie and everyone who loves him who is not accusing him.

NFL suspension Deshaun

Aug 13, 2022, 1:57 PM

If we had his money at that age where his brain is still developing the ability to overcome his Johnson & massages where our thing we may have wanted to do wrong in those situations too.

He got hung up on it & then stood up to the owners of the NFL, they only needed a scratch in the armor & a sleazy lawyer.

If it was clear he broke the law, he would have been charged long ago but he made himself look bad as well as the NFL.

He got paid last season, no way they pay him to sit out with evidence. They want to look good to the public by suspending him longer than 6 games.

Deshaun will be fine, if he continues to have good character & he performs & wins this will be forgotten for the most part after a few years.

Re: NFL suspension Deshaun

Aug 14, 2022, 8:54 PM

No one said he was guilty of breaking the law but what he did by getting 60+ massage therapist in 1.5 years is not a good look. He is a role model for thousands if not millions of young kids, he has to be better than that. Yes I'm sure there were plenty of BS claims but he absolutely went in to it looking to scratch his kink and the thing is he could've done it in plenty of other ethical ways. All he had to do was go to a bar and pick up any girl he wanted basically. I love DW4 but this was a bad look for him.
