who should we have picked up this spring to replace whom? Just for discussion. Not advocating a position on using the portal.

Until he got hurt, Chez Melucci seemed to be doing a good job at Wisconsin. He might have been a good pick up.)

Maybe we could have got Bryce Young to replace DJU. Tyler Linderbalm the top center in the nation to replace Rayburn or Bockhorst. Evan Neal from Alabama to replace our best OT. It's all so simple. Why isn't Dabo gettng these guys in the transfer portal?

Dabo's position is that he doesn't want to hurt recruiting. He wants Clemson to largely remain a developmental program, rather than plucking transfers and discouraging folks from coming. Will go the transfer route only if absolutely necessary. Am I correct?

Why do players go into the portal? Were these players on our original target lists? Were they “superstars” on their previous team? Last spring, had DJ been a transfer guy from another team, would you had advocated to take him? Or, is all your analysis based on arm chairing Monday morning work?
