So I in advertently listen to tiger calls with Brad Brownell

Dec 13, 2021, 8:10 PM

And it sure did shed some light on a lot Of issues. First of all, during the broadcast he was talking about “players teaching players”, and said “this is why we have such a great program”. Clemson is a middle of the pack ACC basketball team, so in Brad mind this is “great”. In other words, he feels like not only is he doing his job, he’s doing a great job.

Later in the broadcast when Dawn Munson mentioned the soccer national championship, Brad started talking about how when he advised Coach Noonan, and coach Noonan actually invited him out to the practice field. Backhanded way of giving himself some credit for the national championship, I don’t blame him because it’s the closest he’s going to get.

I also noticed that there were only three callers to the show, and two of them were affiliated with the Clemson basketball program ( Jim Davis was one of them, probably feeling pity) Very telling about the level of enthusiasm for this basketball program.

I think Brad better wake up and smell the coffee, his program is not great, it’s average, and a lot of us are getting tired of average

My son and I stopped attending in 2012-13 due to boredom

He was 12-13 years old then then and just turned 22. Talk about losing an entire generation of fans ... it's sad.

Mediocre coach yields mediocre program and mediocre fan support. Time for a change.

That one guy is his biggest fan. From Charleston and goes to all the home games and many away games. He calls every show.

Did you hear the caller where he slipped in what happened to the walk-ons from last year's team? Brad totally dodged his question... gee, wonder why???
