Question of continuing to justify mediocrity vs cleaning house and breathing in new life...

Unlike basketball, we have a pretty storied baseball tradition (regardless of the lack of championships). Mediocrity looms long enough; recruiting may never recover to a competitive, blue blood level.

What’s the next step??

You've got to be kidding it hasn't been 11 years yet. You can't even start to look at a coaches program until he has been here for 9 years. Then if he is making any progress then that is enough to give him a four year extension plus raise his salary. And of course the big excuse is, it's a COVID year.
