...Wes starts the game down two veteran starters, loses our field general early on, finishes the game with another future pro on the sideline the whole 4th quarter I believe....And held a very good Iowa State team to 13 points....3 of which they got after failing to gain a single yard.

Imma ride with him!!!

Agree..a win gives the coaching staff a passing grade. Defense won this game. Offense didn’t lose it. I’m looking to Shipley, Pace and Mafah to do great things next year.

You can hit a player passing the ball in the head. The rule sucks, but that is what it is.

I get what you're saying, it looked more like incidental contact to the helmet instead of a personal foul, but even if it wasn't called the way we see it, we fumbled the ball back to ISU at the end of the return, so technically the officials didn't gift them 7 points.
