Opinion please. Which is a better scenario for Clemson in the CFP pole regarding the ACCC game Saturday: Pitt win (our loss to a now higher ranked Pitt team, but win over a now lower ranked WF team) OR WF win (our win to a now higher ranked WF team, but a loss to a now lower ranked Pitt team)...or does it actually amount to a hill of beans? This assuming that they both win their bowl games.

Irrelevant. It will depend upon who we play in the bowl game and how we do.

I don't care
Really, if we don't win it, then the only other quasi-tolerable team to win it should be Wake.
They stood with us in the 80s against the UNCheating Swoffies so they get some points there.

The ACC championship game is a joke when Clemson is not in it.
This year may be the worst attendance and viewership yet.
Clemson *is* the ACC in football. When Clemson isnt on top, the conference as a whole suffers.
People hate to admit this, but it’s true. Let the ACC wallow in the mediocrity they’ve created.
Clemson just needs to win the bowl, get to 10 wins, and call it a season.
Oh, and BTW: Screw Notre Dame!

100% agree. I wrote an editorial back in the 80’s published in the Winston—Salem Journal regarding the attitude most of the ACC had toward Clemson. Wake was the exception. They followed the battle cry of Crum at unc that Clemson and Danny were cheating. That of course was never proved. Clemson was the ACC pay check annually and secretly they all loved cashing in. They still do. Go Tigers!

That is why you expand from the bottom, not the top. You take the c00ts, Mizzous, TAMS, Hornsdown teams to be regular season fodder, not contenders.
In the SEC, this would be the fabled Vanderbilt vs Mizzou matchup. Even they would not care
