Today in Atlanta Georgia coach Kirby Smart told a room of reporters at SEC media days that his team had some of college football’s highest-paid players last season because of their NIL deals.

“We may have had the highest-paid defensive line last year in NIL. “We had the highest-paid tight end in Brock Bowers. Kelee Ringo I would argue is probably one of the highest-paid corners there is in NIL.

Smart said 95 of Georgia’s current players have NIL deals.

“That’s incredible, the depth of that,” Smart said. “There’s so much good there.”
