and there is no question that Jamey Chadwell and his staff have done a really good job down there. In fact, I know a few uof6c fans questioning the decision to hire Beamer instead of Chadwell although I think Chadwell may have turned them down.
That said, there is a reason most of those kids are playing at Coastal instead of a Power 5 program. I'm not saying the game would be competitive, particularly the way the Clemson offense is playing right now, but if the two teams played ten (10) times, Clemson wins 8 or 9 of them.

What fantasy world do you live in? Coastal is far better than GT and BC, and Clemson's offense couldn't score 34 combined in those two games.

plain and simple. They MIGHT win a game in the ACC and it certainly wouldn't be over Clemson. They MIGHT win a game against Vandy in the SEC.
this is their power 5 history (prior to their 3rd P5 win this year -- ALL of which have come against KANSAS!!)

Coastal is probably not even a top 40 team if everyone was able to play each other to sort it all out.

No, I wouldn't be happy.
But I also respect Coastal for being ranked #15 while the Coots and CU with massively more talent and resources are not even ranked.
The reason Tenn and pgms like it go on 20yr ventures into the wilderness is that there is an institutional denial that there are problems. Accordingly, the minimizers prevent the problems from being resolved. I don't want CU to make that mistake.

So after the accomplishments of the recent past, sustained recruiting success, National Championships, number one drafted player in 2021, conference title number 6 and every goal ahead of the team yet still ahead this season minus the playoffs, you’re ready to compare our program to Tennessee?

I can't say for certain, but I think we could still be undefeated and ranked with this schedule with this schedule.
I like that Coastal is having success but don't get the ranking at this time.

Do you remember what Venables did to old Pawwl Johnson…. Coastal runs the triple option out of a spread formation, it would be ugly no matter where we played.

Is this a real question? like for real? Ok. I will play. NO. Don't get me wrong, we have problems, but while they have done amazing things and I wouldn't be mad to see a Group of 5 make the playoffs, their schedule makes the ACC look like the SEC W. We could simply line up and grind them down for 4 quarters. Our O line isn't great by any means yet, but are just too used to seeing MUCH better at practice and should handle a bunch of guys that would likely only be walk on for us in most cases. Now, beat the Chickens? VERY possible imo. I mean ECU and Troy DID give them da business after all.

The real question is "will Coastal Carolina finish with a higher final 2021 rating than Clemson?" with bragging rights.
Clemson should schedule Coastal to visit Clemson every few years to keep the record straight.
