IPTAY Parking. Does anyone have a clue...

Aug 5, 2016, 12:08 PM

...what they were trying to accomplish?

I moved just a few spots over (assigned space) but still in the same area. My buddy who was next to me moved to the other end, but still in the same parking area. We are not any better or worse off other than we are no longer next to each other, which was the most important part.

Why would IPTAY shuffle people around within the same parking area or move to another area with the same donation level? IT'S JUST PLAIN STUPID! I guess I will just have to make new tailgate friends although I've known the other guys since college days, over 35 years.

Who would screw their best customers when there was no apparent gain other than being too dadgummed lazy to do it right!

I'm assuming....

...that you put on your application a request to be next to your friend?

Just to be safe, I've always done that. I've been next to my buddy for 6 or 7 years now.

I'd give IPTAY a call....worth a shot to see if they can arrange something for you. Good luck.

especially this year when they made it known that parking

was going to be an issue. A note on the application never hurt or you could do like I did.....stop by and have a chat with them before ordering to make sure we're on the same page and don't forget the 2 dozen doughnuts just to show them that we appreciate the job they do....it can't be an easy one.

Just FYI, it makes no difference whether or not you want to stay in your spot if someone with more points than you requests your spot. These are not stadium seats. The policy is posted and if you want to ensure you stay next to someone, you and that person should note that on the application. That's not a new policy. It's been that way for years.

That's what I was thinking.

If two donors both ask to be moved to be together in a lot, they had to move somebody to make that happen. That's IPTAY doing the right thing though and accommodating. They can't read your mind.

moderators here needed more clicks. IPTAY was happy to get those for them. ;)

I am not sure it's just parking....tickets aren't any different. I have been giving 2x more than the folks around me and they just don't move me to better seats...I called a few times and I just get told there is nothing available ahead of me; so I am fixing it for 2017; I going to donate based on everyone around me...1/2.

I would call IPTAY and let them know you are giving less in 2017. You might not get the same seats next year.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

if your donation meets Seat Equity, you can keep the seats.***

When Littlejohn was reseated a number of years ago, my seats were moved up 3 rows. Still same seat numbers, just moved me up 3 rows. I had the same thought. Why not just put someone else in the seats I was moved to and leave mine since there was basically no difference in how good the seats were?

IPTAY has changed, as long as bucket loads of money are coming in...

Aug 5, 2016, 1:59 PM

they could careless about the fans. Nothing to get angry about because you won't be able to do anything about it, and it's just a modern day reality of NFL Jr (aka college football)

Of money coming in but the parking policy has not been changed by IPTAY recently.
